Antiquities Ministry lost 90 pct of revenue – Antiquities Minister
Ministry of Antiquities is suffering “severe deficit” as a result of renovating and building new museums, after annual revenues decreased from EGP 300m to EGP 125m, said Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh al-Damati.

Ministry rejects usufruct of Egyptian antiquities
Egypt’s Ministry of Antiquities said on Wednesday that the Supreme Council of Antiquities has rejected a proposal that suggested the usufruct of archaeological sites for three to five years to international companies through a public auction.
